Andrew Ly was born in Los Angeles, California and raised in Long Beach, California. He graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. In May of 2021, Andrew received his Juris Doctor degree from Chapman University, Fowler School of Law and was admitted to practice law in the State of California in June of 2022.

During law school, Andrew completed a variety of research projects in the intellectual property space as a research intern. During his time as a research intern, Andrew drafted various memos regarding fast-developing case law. His research was incorporated into successful arguments before the USPTO that pushed many patent applications forward.

Andrew also has substantial experience in business and sales. He managed a grocery store for nearly a decade where he engaged in client facing and business-to-business liaison. Andrew directed day-to-day operations and helped increased sales by conducting inventory research and tailoring inventory to match current and predicted consumer trends.

Andrew is fluent in Vietnamese. He enjoys playing basketball, pickleball, golf, and travelling during his free time.
