Cat Nguyen Bulaon is a partner at Giovanniello Law Group and facilitates the firm’s youth internship and mentor program. She has a diverse practice having specialized in complex litigation and multi-party suits for over 17 years prior to joining Giovanniello Law Group, where she continues to practice employment law in both administrative and trial settings as well as defend against claims for Elder/Dependent Adult Abuse, professional negligence and wrongful death. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside, and her law degree from Albany Law School, Union University in Albany, New York. Cat is admitted to practice in California state and federal courts.
Some of Cat’s professional achievements include successfully litigating for and against wage and hour claims; defending against wrongful termination, retaliation and whistleblower actions; negotiating settlements; and counseling employers in all phases of employment practices liability. She has also been appointed as lead class counsel and successfully resolved dozens of state and federal class actions involving employment claims and consumer protection laws. Prior to private practice, Cat worked with nonprofit legal agencies and volunteered for various regional and national nonprofit organizations, where she continues to be an active member.
