Daniel J Kim was born in Los Angeles, California. He graduated from the University of Washington where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 2014. He went on to attend law school at Chapman University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in 2018 and was a six-time CALI Award recipient. In Law School, Daniel was part of the school’s Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Team and competed internationally.
After graduating law school, he then received a Master of Laws (LL.M) in ADR from the USC Gould School of Law in 2020. Daniel is also a certified mediator and has mediated hundreds of cases ranging from small claims, civil harassment restraining orders, guardianships, limited and unlimited civil cases, and probate cases.
Daniel also has experience in complex business litigation, personal injury, and insurance bad faith. He gained trial experience and second chaired two bench trials. He also assisted in obtaining a $20 million judgment.
In his free time, Daniel enjoys playing basketball, tennis, and attending sporting events.
